What problem it solves

Switching collection apps usually means starting over. A collection of a few thousand cards can take days to re-enter.

Most trackers and spreadsheets can export a CSV. TCGenius reads it, matches each row to a card, and lets you fix anything it wasn't sure of.

How it works

  1. Export a CSV from your current tracker, TCGplayer, or save your spreadsheet as CSV.
  2. In My collection, choose import and pick the file.
  3. Columns are found by their names: name, set, number, quantity, condition, cost, grader, grade, cert and variant.
  4. Review the matches; fix or skip anything uncertain.
  5. Confirm, and the cards join your collection, valued at tonight's prices.

Can I import my collection from another app?

Yes, if the app can export a CSV. Most can. Import it in My collection and review the matches.

What columns does the CSV need?

At least a card name. Set, number, quantity, condition, purchase price, grader, grade and cert number are used when present. Columns are recognised by their header names.

Will it add duplicates or wrong cards?

Nothing is added until you confirm. You see each match first and can fix or skip rows.

Can I export my TCGenius collection?

Yes, as a CSV, any time.

Is importing free?

Yes.
