How it works

  1. Open My collection and choose "Add from a photo".
  2. On a phone, take photos of single cards or a binder page.
  3. On a computer, scan the QR code with your phone. It opens a camera page linked to your collection for 30 minutes, and photos go straight in.
  4. The cards are read from the photos, and you confirm the matches and printings.
  5. They're added to your collection and valued at nightly prices.

Is there a free card scanner for Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece?

Yes. The TCGenius collection tracker reads cards from your photos for all three games, for free.

Can I scan a whole binder page?

Yes. Take a photo of the page and the cards on it are read together.

How do I scan cards from my computer?

Choose "Add from a photo" in My collection, then scan the QR code with your phone. The camera page it opens sends photos straight into your collection for 30 minutes.

What if it reads a card wrong?

You review the matches before they're added, and you can change the printing or remove a card.

Do I need an app?

No. It works in your phone's browser. You can add TCGenius to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.
