Can AI build a tournament-legal deck?
On TCGenius the legality check isn't left to the AI. Every deck Genny gives you goes through a checker written in code that enforces the ban list, copy limits and deck sizes for the format you picked.
Does Genny make up cards?
She looks cards up in the card database instead of answering from memory, and her answers about cards and rules get a second check against the real card text before you see them. She can still be wrong, so the card pages are linked for you to check.
