Genny Discord bot for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon and One Piece

Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon and One PieceLast updated

Genny, the TCGenius AI coach, works in Discord: type /genny with your question and an optional game, and she answers in the channel. People who haven't linked a TCGenius account get 3 questions a day; linked accounts use their plan's limits.

What problem it solves

Card questions come up where players already talk, in Discord. Leaving to look things up breaks the conversation, and everyone in the channel benefits from the answer.

Genny answers in the channel itself, using the same card data and checks as on the site.

How it works

  1. Add Genny to a server (or use her in a server that has her).
  2. Type /genny followed by your question, and pick the game if it isn't Yu-Gi-Oh!.
  3. Discord shows Genny thinking, then her answer appears in the channel.
  4. To use your TCGenius plan, get a code from Profile → Link Discord on the site and type /link with it.
  5. Use /limits to see what's left today, /genny-reset to start a fresh conversation, and /unlink to undo the link.
